**Regional Director**

**Remote Arizona**

**Annual Compensation: $140,000 to $160,00 DOE**

The Regional Director Oversees field management in the assigned geographic region. Works in collaboration with Clinical and Aviation Operations, as well as other GMR departments to ensure safe and efficient operations across the region. Responsible for the financial performance of all business units assigned to the region.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Direct supervision of Program Directors and Operational Managers in assigned area
- Assists with preparation of annual business and marketing plan
- Assists with preparation of annual capital and operating budget for the Company
- Approves expenditures within established limits, and delegates approval and clear limits to direct reports when appropriate in conformance with company policy
- Completes performance appraisals on directly supervised personnel and ensures all performance appraisals are accomplished on an annual basis
- Conducts regularly scheduled meetings with staff and management personnel
- Attends classes, training, or meetings necessary to maintain knowledge of advances in safety, communications, regulations, reimbursement, marketing, management, and equipment development
- Participates in activities that promote professional growth and self-development
- Maintains thorough knowledge of departmental and other regulatory policies and procedures
- Attends meetings as requested by the Vice President of Operations
- Interfaces with Company President, Vice-Presidents, and Directors ensuring effective provisions of service provided and direct reports effectively interface with these same functional areas
- Oversees the implementation of all new operational activities to include air medical bases and business opportunities
- Interfaces with hospital management on physical facilities helipad issues etc.
- Develops monthly reports of flight activity
- Participates in the development and maintenance of patient transport data base collection and tracking mechanisms for patients transported
- Acts as a liaison with other health care providers
- Coordinates with Aviation Division in developing safety committee and ensuring an active base safety program
- Coordinates activities with the Medical Director and the Director of Clinical Care Services regarding medical personnel, policies and procedures, medical supplies, equipment, and departmental goals
- Coordinates activities with Director of Communications regarding personnel, policies and procedures, and equipment
- Coordinates activities with Aviation Division regarding personnel, policies and procedures and aircraft
- Collaborates with the Directors of Membership and Public Relations to coordinate activities of operations personnel to promote Company awareness and services
- Develops goals and objectives consistent with the mission and vision of the Company
- Acts in conjunction with Public Relations Department and any other appropriate office or person regarding issues about emergency services
- Assists Program Directors and others with development, implementation, and management of an aggressive marketing program aimed at all users of emergency services and other interested groups
- Responsible to ensure effective business development efforts, customer relations and support across the region
- Assists with development of information and promotional materials designed to promote awareness in the community
- Participates in the company's response to and mitigation of any significant negative event in a manner that reduces negative public exposure, reduces civil and criminal legal exposure including providing care and support to staff members and their families directly and indirectly affected ensuring a well understood plan is in place and serves as company spokesperson
- Develops annual goals and a marketing plan for all areas of responsibility Participates in strategic planning for the Company as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS

**Experience**:

- Five years' experience in air medical transport
- Two years' experience in a progressive, responsible management position

**Education**:

- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree preferred
- Certified Medical Transport Executive (CMTE) preferred

**Skills**:

- Background in medical reimbursement and marketing
- Medical knowledge required
