Regional Sales Director: Insurance Self Funding

As a Regional Sales Director, you will identify and cultivate new prospects from relationships, events throughout the year, strategic partners, as well as direct calls and social media prospecting efforts.


Responsibilities

  • Building and developing relationships with Brokers, Consultants and TPA’s in your MKT
  • Prior experience working with customers and providing an exceptional experience
  • Prior Health Insurance exp required and proven track record of new business development
  • Steady work history with prove success
  • Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships
  • Excellent appearance, verbal/written communication, strong negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Must possess the ability to ask for the sale and follow through
  • Money Motivated


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent education and experience
  • 5-15 years employee benefits sales experience (Broker, Consultant, TPA, Carrier)
  • Strong knowledge of self-funded/stop loss market as well as level and fully insured
  • PBM experience is a plus
  • Strong networking skills, work ethic, an eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing an exceptional experience for our partners.
  • Experience with territory planning, outbound proactive sales calls, long sales cycle development, and expertise in Salesforce (or similar CRM) and Excel is required to execute sales goals and quotas.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must enjoy working in a team driven setting
