**Position Summary**:
The Billings Analyst is responsible for performing activities related to the maintenance of customer accounts. Primary duties of this position will include but not be limited to period and quarter close responsibilities, customer account reconciliations, ad hoc reporting, and ad hoc projects.

**Position Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned**:

- Work with key decision makers in functional areas to assist in the development of their strategic plans, operating plans and performance measurement processes
- Support finance development efforts including development of appropriate financial/billing policies, models, training programs, controls, etc.
- Monthly close of the billing software - Zuora.
- Identifies accounts that have negative balances and research and correct customer accounts.
- Help with tickets related to Up and Down and Parent/Child customer invoices, payments and customer accounts in general from Account Executives and or Collections and resolve any billing related issues.
- Monitor billing workflows in Zuora on a daily basis and ensure that any errors are caught and rectified in a timely basis.
- Serve as a resource to staff by answering questions, assisting with problems, and providing training as necessary.
- Proactively reviewing processes to identify inefficiencies, control weaknesses and identifying opportunities for improved efficiency and effectiveness. This will require quantitative analysis to support any recommendations.
- Provide operational expertise to business development and engineering teams for process implementations of new partners and customers.
- Lead cause of change analysis.
- Monitor daily the parent/child accounts processed to ensure Billing is set up correctly.
- Lead special projects as identified.

**Position Requirements**:

- A Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting with two (2) to five (5) years’ experience in billing; or, a combination of education and experience.
- Reconciliations, journal entries, P&L variance analysis, SOX compliance and revenue recognition.

**Salary**: $53,600 - $89,500

**Compensation Range (USD)**: $53,600.00 - $89,500.00 per year
