Overview: Responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations of the practice which includes, but is not limited to: providing supervision and direction to the practice staff, able to assist in training new staff members and assist in continued training for existing staff, conducting monthly and/or weekly staff meetings, promoting customer service, constantly analyzing operations, and attempting to improve processes, in order to provide better patient services and improve the revenue cycle, maintain favorable relations between physicians, patients, hospital administration and Medical Group departments, and supervising staff performing revenue cycle activities ensuring daily adherence to policies regarding scheduling, pre-registration, registration, charge capture, point of service payments, insurance verification, financial counseling and quality monitoring. May have additional department specific as necessary. Responsibilities: Able to assist in training of new and current team members and continuing education as needed, ie CPR certification, POCT, CHAA and all required electronic systems. Conducts monthly staff meetings, weekly rounding and safety huddles. Analyzes operations and needs to improve processes utilizing PDCA. Maintains Athena dashboards and reports. Partners with other Office Coordinators across the BMG network. Oversees daily charge capture. Oversees registration, point of service payments, insurance verification, financial counseling and quality monitoring.Participates in the interview process, complies with orientation process and ensures timely onboarding of new team members. Completes payroll edits and alerts manager within specified timeframe. Holds team members accountable for submitting requests and correction in a timely manner.
Participates in coaching, counseling and disciplinary action processes. Motivates by recognizing, rewarding and reinforcing positive behavior and exemplary performance. Deals effectively with team members experiencing performance and/or behavior problems. Oversees answering service needs. Oversees provider and staffing coverage requests. Maintains healthcare providers call schedules. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Five years medical office experience.

Bachelor's degree preferred

Must have valid driver’s license with no more than 3 moving violations.
