**Accounts Payable Coordinator**
Are you a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping? We are a San Diego-based multifamily real estate firm seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator. Experience in property, mobile home and construction management with Yardi Voyager & Breeze are highly desirable. Essential skills include: self-sufficient and reliable Monday through Friday; strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to work in a high-volume work environment; attention to detail and the ability to multi-task is a must to balance the large volume of payables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process high volume of payables for all properties in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with external accounting firm to process payables.
- Manage and track payables awaiting approval.
- Coordinate and track the status of checks.
- Correspond with vendors and internal staff regarding payment status.
- Data entry into Yardi Voyager and Breeze Management Software.
- Maintain accounting documents or records as required.
- Compile data and prepare a variety of reports as needed.
- Invoice discrepancy resolution and follow up
- Support the Accounting Manager in tasks related to payments for property taxes, sales taxes, home taxes, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Requires a minimum of four years of related experience.
- Proven experience in basic accounting and bookkeeping principles.
- Experience in the property and construction management industry, preferably with Yardi Voyager and Breeze.
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to multitask and pay strong attention to details.
- Construction knowledge is preferred.
