Encore Gallery, a leading name in modern home design and large format porcelain slabs, is seeking a motivated and experienced Store Manager for our location in St. Charles, IL. We specialize in bringing high-quality, European-inspired designs to the American market, and we are looking for a leader who can uphold our values of innovation, quality, and exceptional customer service.
**What You'll Do**:
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure the showroom is maintained to the highest standard.
- Manage and mentor a team of sales and support staff to drive sales and provide excellent customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer engagement and increase sales.
- Attend outside meetings with potential customers and business partners to promote our products and forge new business relationships.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to adjust business strategies accordingly.
- Handle staffing requirements, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as legal regulations.
**Who You Are**:
- You have proven experience as a store manager or similar leadership role in retail, preferably in home design or building materials.
- You possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with both customers and team members.
- You are detail-oriented, with strong organizational and planning skills, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in attending and representing a company in outside meetings with stakeholders and business partners.
- A passion for design, with an understanding of current trends in home decor and materials.
