**Duties/Responsibilities**:
- Oversees the Accounts Payable payment processes and assist in timely issue resolution
- Responsible for continuous assessment and determination of appropriate processes, policies and procedures and recommends changes for improvement
- Assists the Accounts Payable Manager with various projects
- Researches and resolves vendor issues
- Process vendor invoice corrections and posting invoices into the Accounts Payable system
- Assists in team training and project management
- Promotes cross functional collaboration and accountability
- Coordinates audits & ensures Accounts Payable control and compliance to SOX & Accounts Payable Policies & Procedures
- Performs month end close duties relating to Accounts Payable as well as other ad hoc reports
- Performs other related duties to benefit the mission/vision of the organization
