Coordinator/recruiter for Team of Caregivers Who

Job Summary:
Seeking a COORDINATOR for a team of 10 Caregivers who support a young man with AUTISM. He has lived in his own home for almost a year now (with parents doing the Coordinating). This job requires someone who will put the needs of Client first. Being solution-focused, a good listener, easy-going, and enjoy finding work-arounds for the challenges that arise. Focus on finding/retaining good Staff, scheduling, and caring for Client.

**Duties**:

- Scheduling Staff of 10 people who support Client 24/7, using Google Calendar. Tracking schedule of Client and needs of Staff to ensure coverage.
- Recruiting new Staff -- All Staff are experienced Caregivers & Companions with experience using ABA behavior plans developed by BCBA, and skilled at promoting positive behaviors.
- Staying current with Client by working 1 shift per week.
- Will learn to assist in training new Staff (Parents & Staff help with this as well).
- Keeping Staff abreast of new protocols & procedures as well as challenges with Client.
- Acting as a liaison between Family, Staff & Financial Management Service.

Qualifications:

- Requires experience working with a teen or young adult with autism using an ABA behavior plan developed by a BCBA.
- Ability to learn to recognize what makes a good Staff for Client.
- Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively with Family, Staff and Recruits.
- Good communication skills, must enjoy talking to people & solving problems behind the scenes -- while being chill in the presence of Client.

This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of someone with autism and allow his parents to turn over the reins of his overseeing his care, so they can grow old a little more gracefully.

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
