Village Tavern Salem is looking for a Floor Manager with 2 years of experience. The Floor Manager delegates assignments, fills in for absent employees, and ensures customers have a pleasant experience at the Village Tavern Salem. The main daily task is to control the floor, train and assure that servers and bartenders are adhering to our strict steps of service.

**Job Duties**:

- Manage all Food and Beverage Outlet operations
- Ensure compliance of brand standards
- Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist team in the direction and supervision of food servers, bus-persons, and other staff in reference to schedules, service standards, training, motivation, and safety.
- Work within budgeted guidelines in relation to Food, Liquor Costs and Payroll
- Incentivize team members to maximize sales and revenue
- Carry out annual and mid-year appraisals with Managers under your responsibility
- Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ensure communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes generated
- Be environmentally aware
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
- Fill out Fire Safety Log

Schedule for current position is:
Mon 10am-6pm

Tues OFF

Wed OFF

Thu 12pm-9pm

Fri 12pm-9pm

Sat 12pm-9pm

Sun 10am - 6pm

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 2 years of experience
- Leadership skills
- Food cost, Inventory control, and labor control
- Customer service oriented
- TIPs certified and allergen awareness certificate
- POS experience
- Bar knowledge considered an asset
- Budgeting and payroll cost experience is considered an asset
- TEAMWORK and a GREAT attitude are required
- Must have flexible availability - Weekends & Holidays required
- Ability to keep work area clean, organized and to code
- Previous high volume experience preferred
