Job Description:

- Measuring and Cutting Glass: Glaziers measure glass to fit specific shapes and dimensions, and then cut it accordingly.
- Installing Glass: They align the glass within window frames and install it securely.
- Assessing Risks: Glaziers assess risks associated with glass installation and take necessary precautions.
- Choosing Appropriate Glass: They select the right type of glass for each job, considering factors like safety, insulation, and aesthetics.
- Building Frameworks: Glaziers construct the framework or structure where the glass will be installed.

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Completing high school or obtaining an equivalent qualification is essential. Most apprenticeship programs require this as a prerequisite. Courses in math, drafting, and mechanical drawing can provide a helpful background.
- Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card: This card demonstrates your competence and health and safety awareness. It’s often required for construction-related jobs, including glazing1.
- NVQ Level 2: Achieving an NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) Level 2 in glazing can further validate your skills and knowledge2
- Commercial Glazing experience

Pay: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
