We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Events Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Senior Events Manager, you will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events and initiatives to raise funds, promote community engagement, raise awareness about our services, and support our mission of improving healthcare outcomes for all.

This position will be full-time based in Tarrytown, NY working from home 3 days per week and 2 days in office. The standard scheduled is Monday through Friday 9-5 a.m. with weekend and evening flexibility as needed for events. Must have reliable transportation and flexible schedule.

Advance the mission through fundraising events. Advance and support public events designed to introduce new friends to the company, including non-fundraising events; engage existing friends, heighten awareness of the Mission and Impact and provide Sponsorship Opportunities for partners and friends. Assist, the and CEO in developing a donor constituency and active cultivation plan post events and in positioning the company as a ‘charity of choice’ for the investment of donations within the local community Annual goal: Help execute 3-4 significant fundraising events raising $300,000 with growth annually. Help executive friend-raising. Internal/ staff and board events as needed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Play a key support role in Event Underwriting fundraising - enabling Special Events to meet departmental financial goals. Solicit financial support and in-kind donations for fundraising events as appropriate
- Work with Communications department to execute an annual appear, online and through direct mail. Focus on continued engagement of current/ former donors
- Work with RDD/ DES to create a follow-up cultivation plan for all special events donors
- Successfully organize - under the supervision of the Strategist and Regional Development Director - small friend-raising cultivation, board and internal staff events as needed
- Provide logístical strategy and support in the planning and execution of annual special events for SRH
- Follow-up with Board, Committees, Honorees and other constituencies to maximize event income and committee participation
- Prepare content for approved request for support journal ads and work with Communications department to design and get back to the organization by the deadline

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field required

Proven experience (2+ years) in organizing and executing successful events, preferably in the healthcare or nonprofit sector.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to build relationships with stakeholders, sponsors, and vendors.

Creative mindset and the ability to think strategically while paying attention to details.

Proficiency in event management software and tools, including registration systems, project management software, and virtual event platforms.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Knowledge of healthcare industry trends and issues is a plus.

Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.

**Salary**: $23.00-$28.75/hr
