**About our Organization**

The Voter Project Fund was founded in 2020 following the passage of Act 77, the most significant overhaul of Pennsylvania’s election laws in more than 80 years. Our goal is to ensure that every Pennsylvania voter, especially those who have been historically disenfranchised, is able to cast a ballot in a safe, secure, and convenient way. In light of this mission, we are launching a new initiative to produce shareable experiences at vote festivals, concerts, and community events that will be lifted up by innovative advertising and virality to activate the power of a generation and increase voter participation among young Pennsylvanians.

**Job Description and Roles**

Are you ready to lead the charge in mobilizing the next generation of voters? We're on the lookout for an Philadelphia Regional Event Coordinator for our brand new youth-focused voter turnout initiative, Show Up Strong '24, that will be hosting concerts, vote festivals, and community events throughout Pennsylvania to change the culture of voting and increase younger Pennsylvanians’ voter participation.

As our Philadelphia Regional Event Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in driving our mission to increase youth voter turnout and engagement. You will be responsible for event ideas and management and outreach efforts to empower young voters. This role presents a unique opportunity to use your expertise as a catalyst for social change and youth empowerment.

The team working on this effort is small and the management structure is horizontal. We are looking for driven people who can fit into a team and work independently. While we have events, marketing, political, and operations divisions, they all overlap significantly and all members of the team will interact regularly.

As Philadelphia Regional Event Coordinator, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to empower young voters and amplify youth participation in the upcoming 2024 election. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of critical tasks aimed at ensuring we reach our goals.

Here's a glimpse of what you'll be tackling:

- **Idea Generation**:Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop creative strategies to effectively engage and mobilize young voters.
- **Event Planning and Execution**: Plan, coordinate, and execute events. You will work with team members on all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, budget management, and on-site execution.
- **Community Engagement**:Develop and nurture partnerships with local organizations, schools, colleges, universities, community centers, and other stakeholders to maximize outreach and participation.
- **Volunteer Management**:Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to assist with event planning, promotion, and execution.You will provide guidance and support to volunteers, ensuring they are equipped to effectively engage with the community and promote voter participation.
- **Data Collection and Analysis**:Collect and maintain accurate records of event attendance, voter registrations, and other relevant data.
- Experience organizing and executing events
