**Position**:Girls Head Swim Coach (SY 24-25) (Stipend)

**Department**: Athletics

**Reports to**: Director of Athletics

**Affiliation**: Unit A, Section F

**Salary range**:$4,580.00 - $5,539.00 stipend

**Time Commitment**:

- Six days a week.
- Twenty to twenty-five hours a week.
- Three meets a week.
- Season Length
- 8/19/2024 - 11/23/2024

**SUMMARY**:
The Watertown Public Schools seeks an outstanding Head swim coach to coach the girl's varsity swim team for the 2024-2025 school year. WPS is dedicated to excellence, equity, and community. Be a part of creating a bright future for WPS students.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Planning all areas of their team.
- The coach will lead and assist their coaching staff in coordinating efforts under one program goal and ensuring compliance with rules at all levels.
- Analyze game strategy.
- Implementation of skill development.
- Coverage on bus trips.
- Video analysis of meets.
- Statistical analysis of meets.
- Attend all league and local, district, and state meetings when necessary.
- Reaching out to local Youth Groups to promote their respective sport in town.
- Planning award ceremonies and individual award winners.

**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES**:

- CPR Certified.
- NFHS Concussion test completed.

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**:

- High School degree or equivalent
- Degree from an accredited college or university
- Experience coaching swim
- Strong communication and leadership skills
