Accounts Payable Supervisor

Based in our office in Bedford, Massachusetts, the Accounts Payable (AP) Supervisor will oversee all aspects of the Accounts Payable function to ensure all processes are efficient and accurate. This position is full-time with one direct report. Hybrid - office and remote.

**How You’ll Make a Difference**:
Working with the Finance, Estimating, and Operations Departments, you’ll ensure all AP processes are efficient and accurate as you carry out the following responsibilities:
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the AP department
- Utilize Sage 300 software for invoice processing, vendor payments, and other AP functions.
- Manage Timberscan workflows for project team approvals, ensuring invoices are processed with accuracy and in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the AP coordinator, Project Managers and Director of Finance to proactively complete job closeouts accurately and efficiently.
- Manage company’s credit card program, including issuing cards, monitoring spending, and expense reporting.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Assist with monitoring cash balances and banking processes as needed
- Prepare month-end and year-end reports, as well as ad hoc financial analyses as requested
- Identify opportunities for process improvements as needed and implement solutions to streamline workflow and increase efficiency
- Manage annual 1099 reporting prepared by AP coordinator

- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
- 3-5 + years’ experience in Construction Accounts Payable
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with strong ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Timberscan and Sage 300 preferred
- Intermediate proficiency with Excel and Word
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
- Strong planning and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
