Sanitation Technician

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

- Cleaning, sweeping, mopping the facility as needed.
- Maintain the outside grounds of facility.
- Complete cleaning tasks and duties related to the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).
- Audit areas for cleanliness and complete documentation around sanitation checks.
- Address any spills or leaks immediately.
- Follow written instructions to maintain clean and orderly work area.
- Understand production equipment and operation to properly clean and sanitize.
- Use chemicals and safe handling procedures to complete cleaning tasks.
- Stock and replenish supplies as needed.
- Perform general housekeep and janitorial duties such as trash removal, cleaning.
- Maintain chemical storage area.
- Other duties as assigned pertaining to janitorial and housekeeping.

Qualifications:

- Must be able to read and speak English.

**Education**:

- High School Education or equivalency.

Preferred Experience:

- Clean-in-place (CIP) experience is preferred.
- Housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Pay: $19.00 per hour
