**Position**

**Responsibilities**
- Promote Safety as the Number One Priority of all OMG employees
- Troubleshoot, maintain and optimize treatment process
- Guarantee use of and train on appropriate safety procedures
- Perform jar test procedures and operate hydraulic filter presses
- Precipitate metals from wastewater using coagulants, flocculants, and pH adjustment
- Manage solid waste and prep DOT containers for shipment
- Organize and track inventory of wastewater chemicals
- Ensure compliance with Massachusetts DEP Discharge Permit
- Perform other tasks as assigned

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Massachusetts Grade 2 Industrial Wastewater Operator Certification (required) (Gr 3I preferred)
- Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational and communication skills
- Proven ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment both electrically and mechanically
- Capable of overcoming obstacles and completing assignments in a timely manner
- Strong working knowledge of industrial controls and instrumentation preferred
- Team-oriented approach with a desire to work in a hands-on capacity
- Positive attitude, good judgment and excellent time management skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
- Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
