**Description**

SAIC is hiring for a **Program Management Team Manager** who will be responsible for successful delivery of a program to a customer; or manage performance of a task or project as part of a larger program under direction of another PM. Manage and integrate activities in accordance with contract requirements and ensure technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance. This role will operate **onsite in Monterey, CA.**

**JOB DUTIES**:

- Define or contribute to the program baseline then execute the program to comply with baseline requirements.
- Manage risk, customer relationships, and program staffing.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and escalate challenges to SAIC leadership.
- Support business development and program staff management.
- Provides input in planning, developing and implementing the program baseline.
- Identifies and analyzes minor variances, and defines corrective actions in coordination with Program Oversight.
- Conducts financial discussions in coordination with internal cross-functional team.
- Uses standard, well-defined processes, procedures, techniques, or tools that may require program-specific modifications.
- Occasionally reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall quality and content by Program Oversight.
- Primary customer interface for technical, management, and contract matters; information sharing; and moderate problem resolution.
- Possesses maturing leadership and management skills that require periodic mentoring and feedback from supervisors. Escalates and resolves minor program issues. Provides input to MS on performance reviews, compensation-related actions, and staffing and hiring recommendations.
- Contributes to a business development plan to protect current program. Assists in forming re-compete capture strategy. May serve as CM to expand account offerings. Identifies potential selling opportunities related to future growth beyond current account.
- Identifies opportunity-buying influences. Identifies possible investment areas by providing repeatable and differentiated offerings and capabilities used in the current account.

**Qualifications**

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; M.S. degree in Meteorology, Oceanography, Physical Science, or in related Mathematics and Engineering fields, and eight (8) years or more equivalent experience.
- Active Secret Clearance
- U.S. Citizen

**DESIRED SKILLS**:

- Demonstrated experience publishing peer-reviewed scientific literature, software documentation, or Navy guides and/or handbooks.

Target salary range: $145,001 - $155,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
