Accounting Staff

**Job Title**:Staff accountant

Desired Technical Qualifications:

- BA or BS in accounting.
- 1-3 yrs experience, preferably with audit background
- Proficiency in Excel a requirement. Quicken/Quick Books a plus, but not a requirement.

Position will report directly to Accounting Manager (20 years experience with Company).

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

- Work with Quicken and Excel/Word to process Checks and Wire Disbursements.
- Monthly Broker Reconciliations between Company Accounting Records and external broker records.
- Preparation and input of journal entries in Accounting Software Package in support of Financial Accounting Statements.
- Working with EXCEL in updating and monitoring performance records of various client accounts.
- Working with EXCEL to prepare Daily Margin Reports and process Margin call wires.
- Assisting Accounting Manager in special projects including: tax reporting, maintenance of client fund accounting database and distribution of accounting reports, assistance with Auditors.

Pay: $70,000.00 to $90,000 per year
