Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Analyst to join our team. As a Procurement Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing our procurement processes and ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services. This position requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of procurement practices, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

**Duties**:

- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns that may arise
- Analyze procurement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and invoices
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in procurement management

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Procurement Analyst or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, logistics, production planning, and supplier management
- Proficiency in analyzing data using tools such as Excel or other data analysis software
- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and contract management principles
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
