**Responsibilities**:

- Assist patients with billing and insurance related questions and concerns
- Answer incoming phone calls from patients in a professional and timely manner; projecting proper telephone etiquette
- Handling a high volume of inbound/outbound calls
- Perform patient eligibility confirmations with insurance companies via phone and electronically
- Process pre-authorization functions in accordance with insurance guidelines via phone and electronically
- Gain knowledge of the company’s respiratory products and services
- Perform other related duties as assigned

**Required Skills**:

- Excellent communicator with a passion to provide outstanding customer service
- Comfortable speaking on the phone with patients and/or their caregivers
- Organized with proficient computer skills
- Self-motivated and able to prioritize daily work flow
- Attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent required
