Evergreen Credit Union has added an additional Commercial Loan Assistant to the Commercial Loan Department. Does this sound like something you might be interested in?

The Role: The Commercial Loan Assistant is responsible for supporting the commercial loan staff by performing various administrative functions. They will also be a contact person to commercial members when lenders prove unavailable and so must be able to provide a high level of member support.

The Duties include but are not limited to:

- Communicate with Commercial Operations Officer and/or Commercial Administration Manager and assist in gathering financial and other information to support loan requests.
- Maintain contact with the Commercial Operations Officer and/or Commercial Administration Manager to provide status updates and resolve deficiencies in document requirements.
- Maintain daily workflow prioritization and communicate accordingly.
- Handle a variety of member service activities including responding to requests, researching discrepancies and resolving issues.
- Coordinate requesting of real estate evaluations and title reports in conjunction with closings.
- Order credit reports, flood certifications, payoff information and asset valuations. Obtain UCC searches; file and release liens; obtain insurance binders for closings and post-closing updates. Collect real estate tax status information.
- Scan financial information and loan documents either in paper files or imaging system; process files for loans whether active, declined or withdrawn.
- Assist with loan closings for both internally prepared documentation and those by an attorney.
- Book loans on the core system; update records in the commercial loan software.
- Assist with internal and external audit preparation and support.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Performance Measurements:
2. Complete, organize and close loan documentation and files error free.

3. Develop, maintain, and demonstrate a working knowledge of credit union loan standards, policies and procedures, as well as applicable state and federal government rules and regulations.

4. Troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
