UBEO Business Services, the premier provider of business technology products and services, is seeking to hire an IT Support Specialist to join our team in Chico, CA

UBEO is a distributor/servicer of document equipment and software solutions. Primary products include Canon, Ricoh, Xerox and Konica Minolta multi-functional equipment and Kyocera printers. UBEO specializes in electronic document management software and integrations.

**Reports To**: Solutions Helpdesk Manager
**FLSA Status**: Full Time/ Non-Exempt

**Purpose**

The Network Technician is responsible for onsite and remote installation and support needs for our document management clients. This relates to all technology, to include workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor specific hardware and software. This is an advanced technical position, focused on workflow software and advanced document management solutions.

**Responsibilities**
- Support and understand Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, SharePoint, Office365, Group Policy
- Technical support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
- Communication with clients as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages
- Excellent customer service skills is must for this position
- MS Windows OS / Mac OS experience and support
- Print driver setup / best practices
- Technical support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
- Remote access solution implementation and support: VPN, Terminal Services, or Citrix
- Communication with clients as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages

**Qualifications**
- Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree
- 3-5 Years in the IT field or work-related experience
- A valid driver’s license and good driving record is a must
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills
- Must be a self-starter
- Must be capable of working independently
- Ability to handle high stressful situations and thrive under pressure
- Impeccable Integrity and honesty
- Ability to take constructive feedback from Management, or Peers

**Physical Demands & Work Environment**
- Ability to sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to type and compose written communication in various forms
