New York, United States Private Medical Full time

**Shift**: Monday-Friday traditional business hours (e.g., 8am-430pm) - EST/eastern time

**Who are we?**

Private Medical has spent the last 20 years creating a new category of concierge medicine — _private medicine_ — by designing a system that honors the relationship between patients, physicians, and each member of the care team. Based in California, New York, and Florida, our physician-led teams work in concert with our Gynecologists, Naturopathic Medicine Doctors, curated local specialists, elite medical centers, and specialists around the world, to provide relationship focused, evidence-based, longitudinal care to our members and their families. Private Medical is, by design, privately held and free from any conflicts of interests.

Right now, we are looking for a Medical Records Coordinator to support our clinical offices and patient onboarding needs across the organization. The day-to-day duties and responsibilities will vary based on the organization's current needs.

While this person will be a member of the Clinical Operations Team, the individual will mostly act independently throughout the day. The position requires a high level of customer service with community physician offices, hospitals, referral sources as well and our internal teams.

**What we're looking for**:

- **Minimum education**:Associate's Degree in a health-related field
- **Minimum experience**: Two (2) years of medical/healthcare experience

**Skills**:

- Independence and autonomy, when necessary, as well as the ability to work seamlessly as part of a team
- Proactive with sound personal judgment and professional demeanor
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Analytical skills and the ability to understand medical terminology, categories of medical records, laboratory and radiology tests.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed.
- Strong technical skills to use medical coding software and the facility’s health information system
- Can effectively multi-task, shifting back and forth between two or more activities at a time

**What will you be doing in this role?**
- Comply with all HIPAA requirements and maintain patient privacy
- Process and maintain complete and accurate data and patient records within the EHR (eClinicalWorks) and Salesforce
- Request patient medical records from previous providers
- Request patient medical records from current referrals and outside provider visits
- Receive and upload medical records documents in the patient’s medical records
- Ensure proper naming, organization and staff assignment in the EHR
- Track all outstanding medical records in though our Salesforce Workflow
- As assigned, work on additional projects related to Clinical Operations training and projects.

**What is in it for you?**
- 401(k) with a match (up to 3% of salary)
- Robust health benefits
- Fringe benefits including reimbursement for wellness (e.g., reimbursement for gym membership, fitness classes etc)
- New employees accrue 3 weeks of paid time off
- 10 paid holidays off & 1 floating holiday
- ...and most importantly more time to provide outstanding care for patients and work with great colleagues

At Private Medical, we know that a great experience for patients, physicians, and the entire team transpires when people from different geographies, religions, ethnicities, political affiliations, genders, abilities, and creeds engage in collaboration. It is vital that we remain curious and compassionate towards ourselves and others, that we celebrate the new perspectives diversity invites us to see, and that we learn and adapt to the influence of our community to foster a safe and collaborative space.
