CIS of Central Texas is currently seeking a full-time **AmeriCorps Program Director** to lead AmeriCorps services in multiple schools districts in Central Texas.** **The Communities In Schools of Central Texas AmeriCorps program is one the largest AmeriCorps programs in Texas, with members providing mentoring, academic support, and service-learning activities in Central Texas public schools.

**The AmeriCorps Program Director** is responsible for ensuring the successful management, organization, implementation, supervision, and compliance of AmeriCorps activities, services, staff, and programs in accordance with federal and state rules and regulations within the Communities In Schools of Central Texas service delivery model. Due to programming requirements, this position is not eligible for the agency summer break.

**The start date for this position is July 1, 2024**

**Role Responsibilities**:
**AmeriCorps Grant Management**:

- Maintain sound organizational management and documentation systems and practices compliance with federal laws and regulations, Corporation for
- National and Community Service (CNCS) and OneStar Foundation policies and procedures
- Define and revise theory of change for how the program activities will lead to long term results, including performance measures and outcomes
- Utilize appropriate data collection instruments to analyze and complete reports on member, staff, and program performance to make ongoing improvements to strengthen the program
- Create, publish, and review responses to RFPs for contractors to support the AMC program as required by the grant (program evaluator, etc.)
- Write and publish AmeriCorps policies and procedures in accordance with grant contract requirements
- Develop and manage program budget; work cooperatively with financial and leadership staff to develop practices that effectively plan for and manage program funds, provide accurate documentation, and monitor expenditures in compliance with the grant
Participate and respond to official monitoring activity such as on-site monitoring, file audits, including desk-based reviews for OneStar and the single audit
Monitor changes in federal regulations related to AmeriCorps and proactively develop agency preparation and response
Interpret and communicate contract requirements to AMC Specialists and CISCT staff as appropriate

**Team Leadership & Supervision**
- Coordinate hiring process for vacant program specialist positions
- Provide orientation, onboarding and training to program specialists and other supervisees
- Assess and implement individualized supervision based on assessed needs, strengths, and input from supervisees
- Conduct periodic performance reviews for supervisees
- Support program specialists in maintaining positive relationships with Program Managers, AmeriCorps members and other CISCT personnel on campuses
- Ensure AmeriCorps program specialists and other supervisees maintain compliance with federal contractual requirements and agency policies and procedures
- Establish department goals in relation to agency strategic goals, communicate and sets expectation for every AmeriCorps program specialist to achieve department goals
- Model excellence in core competencies and professional behavior
- Provide clear and consistent expectations and communication

**AmeriCorps Member Management Support**
- Utilize inclusion practices and principles to recruit, enroll, and retain member positions as detailed in the approved AmeriCorps grant
- Provide members with written service agreements outlining program requirements and expectations, ensure appropriate guidance is documented on the member file
- Ensure mid-term and end-of-term performance evaluations with AMC members are completed to track progress
- Develop member and site supervisor handbooks and maintain updated policies and procedures
- Oversee and facilitate the creation of comprehensive member training plan designed to ensure members receive the program required trainings to successfully complete their service term

**Program Administration**
- Responsible for strategic planning related to program growth and site promotion
- Educate internal and external stakeholders about the CISCT AmeriCorps Program model and outcomes
- Facilitate stakeholder feedback sessions and analyze data to inform program design and continuous improvement of program outcomes
- Plan and anticipate skill and knowledge-building educational
