**Dîner en Noir Worldwide**, a subsidiary of HNC Enterprises, Incorporation, is one of the fastest growing international member-benefit social enterprise & event production organizations. With a mission of combating structural inequalities in arts programming, small business/economic development, and health/wellness education/delivery in underserved communities across the globe, we produce member-only events supporting Black business owners, professional & artists that consist of weekly/monthly networking events and our annual signature community awards fundraising galas that celebrates Black excellence in art, business, and community and support local mission-aligned non-profits.

We’re currently seeking an Events & Membership Specialist to provide member recruitment and event production operational support to our corporate HQ office. As an integral part of Dîner en Noir, you’ll play a pivotal role in our organization’s growth and success. Your responsibilities will include recruiting new members and Brand Ambassadors, ensuring a high retention rate through exceptional service and engagement, and promoting memberships within the thriving local Black professional community, while managing all event production processes. Specifically, you’ll oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of our professional networking events, fine dining experiences, and annual community fundraising galas, ensuring they align with our mission and deliver exceptional experiences for our members/attendees.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Membership Acquisition**: Identify and pursue potential new members & Brand Ambassadors through proactive outreach, networking events, and community engagement. Develop and execute strategies to attract members/business owners of all sizes and industries to join Diner en Noir. Research and implement new directives for membership growth and prosperity.

**2. Retention Strategy**: Implement initiatives to enhance member satisfaction and loyalty. Build strong relationships with existing members by understanding their needs and providing personalized support. Proactively address concerns and provide solutions to ensure member retention.

**3. Community Engagement**: Serve as a knowledgeable resource on the Diner en Noir community, including its benefits, events, and economic opportunities. Actively participate in community events, committees, and networking groups to promote Diner en Noir and its members. Recruit Partnering Sponsor & vendor partners for events promoting the benefits of partnership. Oversee member support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction Always represent Dîner en Noir in a professional manner (verbal, written and in appearance) when interacting with sponsors/partners, volunteers, vendors and team members.

**4. Sales and Marketing**: Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote membership benefits and value propositions. Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content, presentations, and materials to attract new members & ambassadors and engage existing ones.

**6. Collaboration**: Work closely with other team members, committees, and executive to support organizational goals, initiatives and events. Collaborate with colleagues to leverage resources, share best practices, and optimize member services. Manage relationships/agreements with ambassadors, external partners/vendors ensuring that deadlines are met and all permits, licenses, agreements and submitted, signed, and excited. Liaise with company executive staff to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals. Coordinate with staff & volunteer from different departments and provide constructive feedback.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in event productions, sales, business development, or membership recruitment/management.
- Strong understanding of the local community, its businesses, and economic drivers.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines & deliverables
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Results-driven, entreprenerial mindset with a passion for customer service and relationship-building
- Proactive & self-starting attitude with excellent organizational and time management abilities
- 21 years of age or older

**Compensation & Commission**:

- Up to $3,500.00 per annual Signature Event, which is paid in 3 installments during the event lifespan.
- 25% of revenue generated via weekly/monthly Salon Events.
