**Job purpose**

Receives and seats Members and guests; provides support to servers, Members / guests and kitchen staff with friendly, courteous and knowledgeable service.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Greets Members and guests entering the dining rooms and escorts them to the table, opens menus and places them on the table in front of each person.
- May receive and adjust complaints concerning food or service
- Monitor and/or participate to ensure that tables are reset within 5 minutes.
- Make sure buffets are properly serviced with out direction
- Assist in bussing tables in the dining room and bar
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the servers area, kitchen expo and bar area
- Carry bus tubs from bar to kitchen, empty all garbage cans as needed
- Set up expo area without assistance
- Be able to carry a food tray properly
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be able to work independently and efficiently
- Excellent oral communication and listening skills
- Ability to follow directions
- Excellent customer service skills
