**HOA Compliance Specialist (FT) - East Valley**

**Must-Have(s)**:
**Position Summary**:
**Position Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for reviewing and having a solid understanding of various association governing documents.
- Provide superior customer service while communicating expectations for compliance concerns and providing education to homeowners and residents.
- Provides direct support to the Community Management team to uphold community standards. Collaborates with residents to educate and ensure long-term solutions to infractions.
- Records and tracks compliance issues using the company database maintains detailed records of non-compliance and investigates reported complaints.
- Prepares and mails all compliance and fine notices.
- Process violation letters and charges for each community.
- Answer and return homeowner calls to resolve their situation.
- Provides timely reports to the Community Manager.
- Complete yearly compliance walks with board members to ensure satisfaction in the enforcement of community policies and governing documents.
- Collaborates with Attorneys and Community Managers for the escalation of violations.
- Provides additional support to team members when needed.

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:

- A disciplined individual with the ability to work independently while carrying out multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and well-organized.
- Establish priorities and meets deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Use computer programs and databases proficiently including Microsoft Word and Outlook, as well as internet-based software.
- Must have advanced verbal and written communication skills and work cooperatively with members of the Thrive Team, Board Members, Attorneys, Property Management Companies, Homeowners, and Residents.
- Ability to interpret, evaluate, and explain legal community governing documents.
- Customer service experience.
- Prior HOA experience is preferred.
- Bi-lingual preferred.
