**Contracts Specialist Full Time Days Position Summary**
The Contracts Specialist implements and provides oversight for the contract management program, working closely with other stakeholders to gather and communicate various information about the hospital's contracts
**Responsibilities**
- The Contracts specialist is responsible for implementation, management, and tracking for the overall contract management program, including:
- Coordinating and communicating with stakeholders (e.g., legal) to ensure contracts are properly written, address specific designated needs, and are reviewed/executed in a timely fashion and in accordance with existing policies
- Maintaining updated and detailed contract status reports (excel); regularly distributing report to key executives to be used as a management tool;
- Ensuring deadlines for contract execution/renewal are met in accordance with standard 120 day protocol;
- Organizing and maintaining contract file system
- Performing regular and timely filing of related contract information.
**THE CONTRACTS SPECIALIST FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.**
**Education**
Required: High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Bachelors degree or 5 years health care or legal experience
**Experience**
Preferred: Previous experience preparing, executing and renewing contract files
