_**Tax Accountant**_

**Years of Experience: 2-4 **years’ recent tax experience within public accounting.

**Location**: Houston, TX

**Shift**: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

**Compensation**: $60,000-$80,000 based on experience (**Overtime during busy season**)

Our client is a full-service accounting firm that focuses on providing top tier tax, audit and strategic guidance to business owners, independent professionals, and high net-worth families.

**Qualifications**:

- CPA license preferred, not required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ tax experience
- Experience with preparation of individual, corporations, and partnerships, trust, and estate.
- Experience with CCH Axcess, ProFX or Engagement

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of various tax returns to include trust, estate, corporate, partnership, and individual.
- Work with partners and other team members to develop effective tax planning.
- Ability to identify and analyze tax issues and come to conclusions.
- Prepare quarterly and year-end estimates to assist clients with tax planning.
- Perform diversified tax assignments under the direction of a supervisor, manager, or partner.
- Meet time constraints and client deadlines.
- Build strong client relationship and ensure client needs are being met.
- Possess technical knowledge sufficient to assist staff associates and interns.
