Position Overview:
The Tax Accountant is a member of the larger Indirect Tax team, reporting to the Director of Motor fuels and Indirect Tax. We are looking for an enthusiastic and inquisitive person to complement our existing high-performing team.


Responsibilities:
Analyze, prepare, and file US motor fuel and sales/use tax returns, timely remittance of tax payments and
Jurisdictional audit defense (supports the Indirect Tax Director)
Thorough monthly balance sheet tax reconciliations, with timely remediation of open balances
Support the new ETRM journey.

Experience and Qualifications:
Tax accounting/analyst experience

Experience working for a Downstream or O&G company

GL account reconciliation experience

Bachelor's degree (finance, accounting, or business) required

Strong Excel skills required
