Position: Door-to-Door Community Solar B2B Representative

Type: Commission-Based Only

Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Door-to-Door Community Solar Sales B2B Representative and help revolutionize how local businesses and residents access clean, renewable energy. Your role will focus on promoting and enrolling participants in Community Solar Farms or Sun Gardens, a government incentive program that allows residents and businesses to connect to a local solar array within their zipcode. This opportunity does not involve rooftop solar panel sales; instead, you will be helping customers connect to community solar projects with no commitment or contracts, allowing them the freedom to leave at any time.

What is a Community Solar Farm?

A Community Solar Farm, also known as a Sun Garden, is a local solar power facility shared by multiple community subscribers who receive credits on their electricity bills for their share of the power produced. These projects are part of a government incentive program designed to increase access to renewable energy, reduce electricity costs, and support environmental sustainability. Subscribers, including both residents and businesses, can join these projects without installing solar panels on their own properties.

**Responsibilities**:
Conduct door-to-door outreach to local businesses and residents within the blue zone.

Educate potential subscribers about the benefits of joining a Community Solar Farm.

Explain the government incentive program and how it allows participants to connect to a local solar array within their zipcode.

Present the advantages of the no commitment, no contract nature of the program.

Guide potential subscribers through the sign-up process with local subscriber organizations.

Ensure each participant's power bill receives the "Community Solar ID **".

Achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive engagement and relationship building.

Maintain accurate records of interactions and enrollments.

Provide excellent customer service and follow-up support to subscribers.

Sequence Checklist for Representatives:
Preparation:
Obtain necessary materials (brochures, enrollment forms, FAQs).

Familiarize yourself with the local Community Solar Farms and subscriber organizations.

Initial Contact:
Approach potential subscribers door-to-door within the designated blue zone.

Introduce yourself and the purpose of your visit.

**Education**:
Explain what a Community Solar Farm is and how it operates.

Highlight the government incentives and the benefits of local solar energy.

Engagement:
Address any questions or concerns from the potential subscriber.

Share success stories and testimonials from other community members.

Enrollment:
Assist the subscriber in completing the enrollment form.

Ensure all necessary information is accurately recorded, including the "Community Solar ID **".

Verification:
Verify the subscriber's eligibility and location within the blue zone.

Confirm their understanding of the no commitment, no contract policy.

Follow-Up:
Provide the subscriber with contact information for support.

Schedule a follow-up visit or call to ensure satisfaction and answer any additional questions.

Qualifications:
**Experience**:
Previous experience in sales, especially door-to-door or B2B sales, is preferred.

Experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus but not required.

**Skills**:Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to educate and persuade potential subscribers.

Self-motivated and goal-oriented.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

**Education**:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Further education in marketing, sales, or environmental science is a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $85,008.00 - $100,423.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 - 36 per week
