**SUMMARY**:
The Project Manager works closely with all functional teams across the organization to lead and drive projects forward through the Innovation Stage & Gate Commercialization Process. Based in office at Sanisure R&D center in Camarillo with up to 25% travel. Reports to the NPI Manager and works closely with R&D, Operations, and Product Management. Interacts with key company personnel both within Sanisure and external partners as related to product development and commercialization programs. Develops and maintains positive rapport and working relationships with other personnel in such as product management, R&D teams, and other partner organizations in support of initiatives to accomplish company goals.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCITONS**
- Define new Stage & Gate documentation and process with the support of internal cross functions (Global Marketing, Local Markets, R&D, Sales, Supply Chain, 3rd Party Suppliers and Finance), to ensure the effective introduction of New Product Introductions across International markets
- Work with R&D and Marketing team managers to ensure documentation for each project stage is submitted on time to monthly meetings for the approval of the leadership and cross functional team
- Track/monitor the team resourcing levels (People + Costs) & risk/confidence levels on projects while effectively measuring the output from initiative set (e.g. Future Pipeline Sizing / KPI set)
- Hold people to account for what they have said they would deliver in a fair and transparent way
- Portfolio management and prioritization
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Required experience includes:
- Minimum 5-7 experience in Project Management
- Bachelors preferred.
- 4+ years of cross-functional team leadership and project management experience in Biotechnology/Life Science industry is essential
- Experience working in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) or laboratory environment.
- Experience with Project Management tools such as Smartsheets
- Preferred experience:
- PMP Certification
- New technology implementation and technology transfer.
- Experience working with multiple bioprocessing equipment suppliers.
- Biotech device development experience
- Able to design and implement process improvements successfully, securing support and resources as required
- Results focused
- Builds credibility, positive working relationships and has the ability to influence stakeholders and team members at all levels to deliver projects effectively
- Leads cross functional teams effectively, communicating objectives, priorities, progress and issues clearly
- Motivates and engages others through positive attitude, presence and a confident, approachable demeanour
- Global experience, consumer marketing background and supplier/consulting/agency side experiences are all pluses
- Understanding of third party and supply chain would be beneficial
- Experience in Product Development and Product Lifecycle management
- Must possess excellent oral, written communication & influencing skills and a proven ability to build collaborative partnerships
- Effective listening skills, as well as flexibility, a strong work ethic, and being a strategic thinker are valued assets
- Can handle a heavy workload with competing priorities
- Ideally a University degree holder in a relevant discipline
- Professional qualification in project management and, ideally, change management
- Ability to establish sound working relationships.
- High initiative with the ability to work independently and problem solve.
- Ability to organize inputs to generate a customer driven output.
- Ability to repurpose existing technologies or create new innovations to solve problems.
- Detail & deadline oriented; well organized.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills: ability to interact with staff on all levels.
