**Event Assistant**
**The Atrium Venue is looking for a Event Assistant to join our team in Country Club Hills, IL.**
**This position is responsible for**:
**Assisting with all aspects of an event, including set up, tear down, and general support.**
- Working with event staff to ensure the event runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Providing support to event staff when necessary.
- Working with the Venue Manager to ensure the event is scheduled correctly.
- Assisting with the setup of special events, such as weddings, birthdays, corporate events, etc.(putting on and removing linen, sweeping, mopping, etc.)
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Event Director or Event Manager.
- Overseeing events, during scheduled shift, to ensure the safety of staff and no breach of contract has taken place
- Making sure event venue is opened and closed, for the day, appropriately
Qualifications:
**Must be at least 18 years old. Weekends are a MUST. Must have open availability.**
- Must have experience in event management or similar role.
- Must have experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
Work Location: In person
