**Summary**

The Tool Coordinator position is responsible for coordinating and tracking tool assets and materials for Kent Power crews and projects. This position will work directly with operations in preparing tooling and material, receiving tooling requests and placing orders while assisting the shop in general asset cleaning and shop maintenance

**Essential Functions**

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Acquire new and used tools on an as-needed basis, with approval from Supervisor.
- Maintain inventory levels by communicating clearly and often with Supervisor. Maintain tool room inventory valuation tracking, as required by ISO standards.
- Utilize CMMS inventory control system to track tool asset status in the field and in-house.
- Maintain and keep current tools that require calibration, including rubber gloves and sleeves, per ISO standards.
- Ensure return to the shop of all broken tools when they are replaced in the field and determine repair status. Coordinate repair of tools as needed.
- Assist with parts runs when needed
- Assist with cleaning vehicles when needed
- Assist with general cleaning of both repair center and exterior area of Office Headquarters
- Assist with minor repairs at both repair center and office headquarters
- Act as a champion for all Kent Power initiatives, processes, and programs.

**Required Education and Experience**
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of related experience

**Preferred Education and Experience**
- Associate degree
- 2-5 years of related experience in parts room/warehouse inventory

**Work Environment**

This job operates in a shop area, which can be exposed to varying temperature conditions. On job sites, the employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position may be performed in outside weather conditions as necessary. In addition, this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
