**Unit Clerk/Biller** **- Infusion Therapy**

8am-4pm

**Responsibilities**:

- In-person and Phone Customer Service Etiquette-Courteous and friendly to patients and other departments
- Communicates with Patient Registration, Physician Offices, Insurance companies, Red Cross and Hospital Billing and other departments
- Answering Phone and Scheduling patient appointments
- Maintaining patient records
- transcribing orders, verifyng insurance, obtaining insurance authorizations, adhering to policy & procedures for infusion therapy
- Daily Reconciliation of Patient Charges
- Ordering of supplies and maintaining budgetary costs.

**Experience**
Previous Unit Clerk or Medical clerical experience preferred.

Knowledge of medical terminology & billing preferred.

Knowledge of patient registration preferred.

**Education Requirements**
High School graduate or equivalent.

**License/Certification Requirements**
None

Location: Cape Regional Health System - Endo Center

Schedule: Full Time, Days, M-F with call
