**Job Summary**:
Perform electrical construction supervisory responsibilities for major new, replacement and upgraded electric facilities for the Inside Plant Construction Group in the Projects and Construction (P&C) Organization.

**Responsibilities**:
Manage and coordinate the work of multiple contractors and trades. Resolve Contractor conflicts, schedule issues and labor disputes. Drive/promote safety throughout the job site and ensure environmental compliance. Interface with governmental agencies for regulatory compliance with permitting and licensing requirements. Direct the installation of inside plant major electrical equipment, structures, bus, cabling and protection. Provide daily job site inspection of work to ensure completion in accordance with established designs, specifications and PSE&G/industry standards. Complete construction reports, Contractor billing, in-service reports, Contractor/vendor evaluations, forecasting, accruals and project close-out reports. Perform on-call duties and provide emergency response to weather events and restoration of major inside plant failures. Participate in bid evaluations and the Contractor selection process. Must complete necessary training and qualify to hold an assignment in PSE&G’s Tagging System.

**Job Specific Qualifications**:
Required skills:

- High school graduate or GED.
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience with extensive knowledge in electrical construction, protection and testing for electric substations / switching stations equipment.
- Experience with protection cutovers.
- Must possess demonstrated leadership skills, professionalism and customer/client focus.
- Must have strong written and oral communications skills.
- Because the job requires driving to company locations and off-site assignments and events, must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license with a safe and satisfactory driver history.
