Under general supervision, orders, receives, delivers, stores, inventories and issues a wide variety of items in support of a department warehouse, storage operation or yard. In this position, you will interact with a wide variety of people servicing the many Maricopa departments. This position has a high emphasis on customer service and requires a detailed and organized individual who is self-motivated and reliable. We Require
- One year of related warehouse or inventory control experience
- A combination of training, education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis

We Also Value
- Travel agent or travel coordinator experience
- Four years of administrative or customer service
- Familiar with expense reconciliation

Job Contributions
- Performs physical labor and support tasks associated with inventory control
- Receives and unpacks items; reviews shipping documents for correct quantity and merchandise; inspects for damage; unloads, stores and delivers supplies and materials
- Processes and maintains inventory control records showing present location, transfer or disposal of property
- Operates material handling equipment such as a forklift or pallet jack
- Prepares reports, logs, and basic records
- Make pickups and deliveries
- Performs physical counts of inventory throughout the year
- May perform minor maintenance and repair to items; moves, assembles and disassembles furniture and equipment
- Orders supplies and equipment to keep adequate stock on hand
- Performs other duties as assigned

Working Conditions
- Must possess, or have the ability to obtain by the time of hire, a valid Arizona driver’s license
- Warehouse environment that may involve exposure to adverse weather conditions and related hazards
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and carry, push and pull up to 75 pounds on carts and hand trucks
- Must be able to work in confined areas on and around heavy equipment and trucks
- The work will occur in an office and field environment
- While performing the duties & responsibilities the employee maybe exposed to loud noise, noxious odors, unsanitary conditions, chemicals, electricity, moving mechanical parts, varying weather conditions, and other related conditions and situations

Machines, Tools, Equipment, Software, and Hardware:

- Hand tools, Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, Carts, Hand Trucks, Golf Cart, Flatbed truck, Computer, CGI software

Protective Equipment Required:

- Hard Hat, gloves, safety boots, safety glasses

Selection ProcedureMust pass a pre-employment background and/or fingerprint investigation as required by statute or policy, including drug and alcohol testing requirements for positions designated as safety-sensitive
