TBD Solutions Inc Job Posting: Data Scientist Consultant

2 or more years of transforming, analyzing and visualizing large and complex datasets is required, including the use of statistical programming languages (_e.g., R, Python data science packages, etc._) to develop models, simulations, or other methods to tackle complex problems. The position requires knowledge of healthcare data, such as common taxonomies (_e.g., HCPCS/CPT, SNOMED, ICD-10, etc_.), with a preference for knowledge of data related to specialty populations associated with TBDS’ core business (_e.g., persons recovering from mental illness and/or substance use disorders, youth in foster care and/or receiving treatment for severe emotional disturbances, individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, older adults, etc._). Keen ability to understand and translate clinical and operational processes into analysis and measurement frameworks is needed. Experience working with governmental entities, healthcare, insurance plans or trade associations is preferred.

Key skills for the Data Scientist Consultant include: Exceptional attention to detail, work ethic and follow-through; technical abilities to expertly perform data cleaning, modeling, analysis, design, testing, development, and implementation; designing and building interactive data visualizations with an understanding of appropriate chart types to highlight different patterns in data; exceptional written and verbal communication to support understanding and drive key decisions; understanding of project management principles; knowledge of cloud computing services; ability to document workflows and relationships using Microsoft Visio or similar tools. This is not an entry level position: The stated work experience is required.

Pay: $78.75 per hour
