**Job Title**: Early Morning Intermodal Dispatcher

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Early Morning Intermodal Dispatcher. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of intermodal transportation activities during the early morning hours.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Dispatch Management**:

- Verify the timely dispatch of all drivers, ensuring they are properly assigned and equipped for their routes.
- Monitor driver activity to guarantee adherence to schedules and compliance with company policies and regulations.

2. **Appointment Scheduling**:

- Coordinate and schedule appointments at port facilities, optimizing efficiency and minimizing wait times for drivers.
- Communicate effectively with port authorities and other stakeholders to secure necessary appointments and facilitate smooth cargo handling.

3. **Route Monitoring**:

- Utilize tracking systems and communication tools to monitor the movement of drivers and ensure they are following designated routes.
- Proactively identify and address any deviations or delays, taking appropriate action to mitigate disruptions and maintain on-time delivery.

4. **Customer Communication**:

- Provide timely updates to customers regarding estimated time of arrivals (ETA) and any changes to delivery schedules.
- Respond promptly to inquiries and address concerns to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in logistics, dispatching, or a related field, with a strong understanding of intermodal transportation operations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using transportation management systems (TMS), GPS tracking software, and other relevant tools for dispatch and route optimization.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with drivers, port personnel, and customers.
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts and adapt to changing priorities and operational requirements.

Pay: $20.32 - $24.47 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 45 per week
