We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and maintenance of our Harvey facility aligns with established procedures and company objectives. You will report directly to the Vice President of Operations and play a crucial role in maintaining our high safety standards and the upkeep of our facilities and equipment. **Responsibilities**:

- Develop, maintain, and enforce high safety standards at the facility.
- Coordinate annual fire safety inspections with the local fire department and address any identified deficiencies promptly.
- Report safety inspection findings to the service manager.
- Maintain facilities and grounds in compliance with relevant regulations and budgetary considerations.
- Establish and review site-specific maintenance logs regularly.
- Assess long-term maintenance needs and develop plans for major projects and property improvements in collaboration with the service manager.
- Coordinate, supervise, or arrange corrective and preventive maintenance activities as per operational procedures and financial guidelines.
- Ensure major equipment and furnishings are kept in safe, operational condition or arrange for replacements as necessary.
- Maintain equipment records and establish procedures for timely repairs.
- Obtain bids for major equipment purchases with the support of the service manager and make recommendations accordingly.
- Maintain regular and timely communication with the service manager regarding job performance.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Competence in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all departments and contractors.
- Familiarity with maintenance tools.
- Capability to perform electrical and mechanical tasks.
- Knowledge of steam boiler systems is advantageous.

**Additional Responsibilities**:

- Mow grass and maintain outdoor walkways.
- Order and manage supplies, including trash liners, paper towels, cleaning supplies, etc.
- Maintain the training room and locker room.
- Manage water softener and boiler maintenance tasks.
- Ensure adequate oil supply and perform necessary maintenance on the oil burner.
- Manage trash disposal and recycling.
- Oversee HVAC units, including filter changes and maintenance.
- Schedule and oversee maintenance for the shop air compressor and descaling of equipment.
