**Job Summary**

Part Time Hotel Night Auditor - (from $18/hr - starting wage depends on experience) Front desk department wage ranges from $18-$22 per hour, depending on position, skills, and longevity.

We are looking specifically for part time Night Auditors. (**11 P.M. - 7 A.M. SHIFT IS TYPICAL but SOME FLEXIBILITY IS PREFERRED AND NECESSARY)**. Our Marina Shores Hotel needs Night Auditors to serve as the overnight faces of our business. We're looking for friendly individuals who enjoy being around and working with people and who can multi-task well. Previous customer service experience is important as you'll already understand the importance of responding quickly to guests' needs, questions, and complaints. Telephone work and computer work are heavy. Experienced hospitality workers are encouraged to apply, but we'll consider training the right individuals.
- **Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Handling telephones and responding to guest inquiries.
- Your cheerfulness will greet arriving guests both walk-in and booked prior to arrival.
- You may help guests with special services and direct them to their destinations.
- You'll be "front line" in communicating guest special requests and complaints to the appropriate department within the hotel.
- Resolve guest issues when possible or applicable.
- Night Auditors work nights, usually 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. and often much of the shift they work alone. They are responsible for closing out and balancing the hotel books and systems at the end of each day, so Night Audit experience, computer literacy, and a good head for numbers are important. Beginning pay depends on experience, and all our employees are reviewed after 90 days, often earning their first raise in pay at the end of the 90 day trial period.
- The hotel business is a 24/7/365 business so we're never closed meaning weekends and holidays are probably going to be work days.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Bilingual is a plus.
- We prefer 1-2 years of customer service experience and previous hotel night audit experience.
- You must have excellent oral and written communications skills and be computer capable including proficiency with Microsoft Office. Previous experience with the Visual Matrix Hotel System is a big plus.
- Excellent telephone personality is a must.
- The Hotel never closes, so you must be willing and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Once we offer a position, the offer will be contingent on your willingness to submit to a background check and pass that background check.
