Mobile Phlebotomist

Instalab is a proactive healthcare company that is looking for a technologically-savvy, self-motivated phlebotomist who possesses that much sought balance of competence and compassion, and who doesn’t cut corners when it comes to patient care. As part of our team, you’ll provide comprehensive and relationship-based in-home care to our patients in the San Francisco Bay Area.

We're looking to bring on someone for a 3-day trial contract that will convert to full-time hire (with benefits) if both of us agree the fit is right after the trial period.

**What you'll do**:

- Collect blood samples from patients in their home or office.
- Perform and record biometric testing results including, but not limited to weight, blood pressure, and waist circumference.
- Commute from patient to patient collecting samples throughout the day.
- Centrifuge and aliquot samples as needed.
- Package and ship samples to the clinical lab.
- Adhere to laboratory safety policies and procedures.

**You should have**:

- At least 3 years of phlebotomy experience
- At least 1 year of _mobile_ phlebotomy experience.
- At least 100 successful venipuncture blood draws within the last 6 months.
- Current national certification in phlebotomy, or RN with documentation of current state license and registration.
- Willingness / ability to travel to patient homes and offices.
- Flexibility to work 8 hour shifts Monday to Friday and weekends as needed.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and provide two professional references prior to hire.
