Presentation Rehab is currently seeking Full-time Activities Assistants to work with residents in our long-term care unit.

**Presentation Rehab** is a 120-bed skilled care facility located in a beautiful neighborhood in Brighton, MA. At Presentation, we are committed to enhancing the lives of our residents. We recognize that the difference is in the details and we invest as much time and energy in our setting as we do in the care we provide. Our mission is to provide a bridge between inpatient care and home for our short-term residents and to achieve and maintain the highest possible level of functioning for each of our long-term residents.

**Qualifications**
- Must have a clear speaking voice and the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to interact effectively with residents, their families, visitors, and other staff members.
- Ability to read, write, and ability to speak in small or large groups.
- Have a working knowledge of physical fitness programs.
- Experience in running and/or assisting in planning programs in groups of various sizes is preferred.
- Experience with dementia residents is desired but not required.

**Responsibilities**
- Planning and facilitating daily, weekly, and monthly events/activities to encourage socialization, relaxation, and recreation.
- Implementing activities that accommodate those with special needs.
- Handling logistics to make events/activities possible, such as making phone calls, advertising, managing inventory, etc.
- Observing residents to gauge their enjoyment and obtain their feedback to improve activities.
- Keeping records regarding event planning resources, participant interest, and other notable information, such as injuries or behavioral incidents.
- Reporting medical concerns or observations.
- Adhering to and enforcing all safety procedures.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
