**Carson Corporation Description**

Carson Corporation, based in Lafayette, NJ, a premier provider of construction services for over 30 years, has an immediate opportunity for a construction yard maintenance worker.

**Position Summary**

This position will assist in keeping operations running smooth and efficient. Daily tasks include operating a forklift and/or front end loader, assisting with equipment needs, while supporting the facilities manager as needs arise. This is a great role to learn about the construction industry and handling heavy equipment.

**Responsibilities**
- Power washing equipment as needed
- Load and unload trailers for construction materials
- Pull warehouse orders
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized shop
- Assist mechanics as needed
- Assist with warehouse inventory levels
- Receive incoming deliveries
- Assist VP of Internal Operations with maintenance of Wasp Asset Tracking System

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Knowledge or experience operating heavy equipment, trucks and trailers
- Experience working in a fast paced environment
- 1+ year of experience in construction
- Familiar with common manual and power tools and equipment
- Able to lift 50+ pounds
- Excellent communication skills
- Starting hourly rate of $25-$28/HR depending on experience

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
