Job Overview:
**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Maintain documents for and required audit request for OHSMS.
- Developing policies and procedures that help prevent harm to workers and property. This person will create policies for workers to follow that minimize job-related hazards.
- Document, tracking, and report generation as required
- Be a strong proponent of 5S program, and Kaizen program.
- Will be expected to assist in the development of process work instructions and be responsible for providing team member process training to ensure that all WI items are being adhered to in the same manner across both shifts.
- Participate in safety incident investigations and contribute to countermeasure implementation.
- Monitor quality documentation and report generation
- Assist supervisors in monitoring 5S throughout the facility
- Establish and track an effective Kaizen program
- Communicate quality concerns with our material suppliers
- This person will be an effective communicator both orally and written.
- All other duties assigned and requested by the plant manager.

**Qualifications**:

- Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel.
- Must be comfortable with computers, entering data, and spreadsheets.
- Must be able to travel for training.

**Physical and Mental Requirements**:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:

- Drive a forklift.
- Walking in the warehouse and around shipping yard
- Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
- Lift and or move up to 50 pounds

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**:

- The job will require both office and production floor time.
- When on the production floor, employee will need to be able to adapt to the seasonal weather, as the production floor can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
- Transferable Military experience
- Veteran and Military-friendly Company

Pre-employment background screening (criminal ) and drug testing (includes marijuana) are required for all positions. Consideration for qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with federal law, state law, or local ordinance.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
