Innovative accounting firm Dugan + Lopatka CPAs is seeking an Accounting + Advisory Services Associate. In this role, you will work with the Accounting + Advisory Services department to provide business clients with actionable insights into their business operations using timely and reliable data.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform compilation and review engagements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Prepare business tax returns and opportunities to provide tax planning services to business clients.
- Prepare payroll and sales tax returns.
- Perform outsourced accounting services for business and nonprofit clients, including bill paying, payroll, financial statement preparation, budgeting, grant reporting, review and discuss financials with clients.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting (required)
- CPA eligibility (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience using QuickBooks (preferred)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Motivation to grow your career and learn new things
- Ability to thrive in a team environment
