The primary responsibility of a Maintenance Technician is to install, remove, repair and maintain equipment for production operations; proactively drive machine uptime and efficiencies, manage machine and spare part inventory, and support internal and customer qualification requirements for new equipment and/or production processes.**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
_
- Assemble, install and maintain a variety of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- repair and replace equipment components such as gauges, valves, belts, regulators, motors, etc.
- Monitor equipment performance to detect malfunction
- Maintain low-voltage and high-voltage systems using diagnostic equipment, prints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Perform programming and wiring as required.
- Maintain appropriate equipment documentation to record modifications to equipment, logic systems and programmable controls.
- Complete work orders as assigned ensure proper release of equipment back to production.
- Perform daily inspections, preventative maintenance and safety checks of equipment.
- Assist with continuous improvement and development programs by analyzing conditions and developing resolutions.
- Flexibility of working overtime hours is necessary.
- May perform other job related duties and assignments as necessary.
- May assist engineers, for specific project assignments.

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2-4 years equipment maintenance experience in an industrial setting preferred
- Solid understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
- Requires mathematical aptitude
- Blueprint reading, ability to read wiring diagrams and hydraulic schematics, and familiarity with electro-mechanical repair preferred
- Ability to use various hand-held and power tools.
- May use welding equipment.
