Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician, reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, is responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs on various equipment and facilities. This includes work on plumbing, electrical systems, heating and cooling, and other essential building infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot production machinery requiring repairs.
- Develop and execute annual maintenance plans based on building schematics or equipment manuals.
- Perform general maintenance tasks unrelated to appliances, such as drywall repairs, painting, and fixing doors.
- Maintain cleanliness and assist in the upkeep of the facilities.
- Procure necessary supplies and materials for maintenance tasks.
- Occasionally perform light welding tasks.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in maintenance and repair.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and navigate ladders.
- Experience with welding techniques.
- Strong electrical skills.
- Capability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
