Dance Fitness Instructor

**About Us**:
We are a dynamic and innovative dance studio dedicated to fostering a love in movement to our community. Our programs range from beginners heels, bellydance, barre, stretch, contemporary and Barboza. We pride ourselves a safe space for the retired dancer, the new dancer and the non dancer. The Barboza Method was established in 2014. In 2016 opened their first studio Sunset Blvd designed it with mirrors on the ceiling. The Barboza Method is a floor barre method, full body low impact workout focused on posture and proper alignment.
**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Teach classical ballet, stretch, barre, and contemporary classes. (all or some)
- Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans for students of varying skill levels.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their technique and performance.
- Participate in a 4-month training program to become certified in the Barboza Method.
**What we are looking for and what you expect from us**
- Classical ballet training with a strong technical foundation.
- Experience teaching ballet and related dance forms.
- Knowledge of barre and contemporary dance techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate your training and teaching commitments around your schedule of shows and auditions.

**Hiring Process**
- 10 free classes (one month to complete) to meet students & teachers to feel the environment and try all classes and for us to see your integrity and skill
- After 10 classes are completed we get you in the system and start teaching classes that work with your schedule and schedule training for Barboza
- Schedules will be made via communication with all teachers via text every week. We are all professional dancers and we all have lives to live. We all work together to cover classes and support each other's dreams.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 - 6 per week
