**Skills and experience**:

- Fish Preparation Knowledge: Sushi bar or fish department experience is highly desirable
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in the preparation, dicing, and portioning of raw salmon and filets. Assisting in the packaging, and quality assurance stages to maintain the high standards of THISBOWL.
- Culinary Aptitude: While formal culinary training is not required, a passion for food and a willingness to learn kitchen operations is essential.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely completion of duties.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively, contributing to a smooth kitchen operation.
- Positive Attitude: Approach work with enthusiasm and positivity, fostering a collaborative and uplifting work environment.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Fish Preparation: Preparing, dicing and portioning large quantities of high quality, raw salmon. Adept knife skills are a must.
- Ingredient Preparation: Prepare raw and fresh ingredients - adept knife skills necessary.
- Packaging & Quality Assurance: bag and seal goods to ensure consistent quality, food safety, and yield of finished products.
- Kitchen Standards Adherence: Adhere to all kitchen food safety and quality standards.
- Cultural Contribution: Live out THISBOWL’s people and culture standards, actively contributing to an excellent work environment.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
- Ability to walk, stand and/or bend continuously and for extended periods of time as required to perform essential job functions.
